RICHMOND, Va. – Western Branch boys basketball saw their historic season come to an end with a 63-47 loss to South County in the Class 6 state championship game.

It was the first state title game appearance for the Bruins, who compiled a 25-and-3 record during the season.
Junior guard Kendall Bynum led the Bruins with 13 points.
