NOROFLK, Va. – Derrick Lawson, 37, died in a crash while riding his motorcycle on Friday.
Officials believe that Lawson lost control of his motorcycle in the 3300 block of Chesapeake Boulevard, striking a power pole when doing so.
No other vehicles were involved in this crash.
Lawson lived not to far from the scene of the crash in the 5900 block of Chesapeake Boulevard.
No other injuries were reported.
