CHESAPEAKE, Va. – The Coast Guard helped a sailboat taking on water Friday near Gilmerton Bridge in Chesapeake.
According to officials, the Coast Guard sent a boat to the location where the vessel was taking on water. The Virginia Marine Resources Commission was already at the vessel and escorting the occupants onto their boat when the Coast Guard arrived.
