NORFOLK, Va. – The Norfolk Police Department is investigating a fatal motorcycle crash in the 2300 block of Ingleside Road Friday.
When police arrived to the scene, they found 28-year-old Edward Witherspoon III lying in the street unresponsive. Witherspoon was pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation shows that Witherspoon was driving when he lost control of his motorcycle. He was thrown from the bike and died at the scene.
There were no other vehicles involved.
