PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating a shooting that left a boy injured in the 1100 block of Virginia Avenue Tuesday night.
The call came in at 8:38 p.m. Police say the boy suffered a gunshot wound to his hand and was taken to a local hospital. His injuries are said to be non-life threatening.
This incident occurred in the same area where two people were shot Monday night.
