NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Police in Newport News are investigating the death of a 24-year-old woman.
Officials said the woman was found deceased in the 100 block of Tricia Lane around 5:30 Thursday evening.
Friday morning police said the woman had been shot. She has been identified as Eimaja Jada Harris.
There is no suspect information available at this time. Police are still investigating.
