VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Police responded to reports of a bicyclist struck by a vehicle, a 1999 Ford F-150, on South Plaza Trail and Brenneman Trail in Virginia Beach on July 17, 2018 at 1:07 p.m.
The juvenile bicyclist was unresponsive, but breathing, according to police.
Units were on scene and requested a Nightingale to take the juvenile to the hospital.
The bicyclist was flown to CHKD via Nightingale with life-threatening injuries. The bicyclist is currently listed in serious but stable condition.
