PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 16-year-old male that happened around 11 p.m. on Monday.
Officials said in a tweet that the teen walked into a local hospital with a gunshot wound to his lower body.
An investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
