NORTHAMPTON COUNTY, Va. — Marc Marshall, Chief of Police for the Cheriton Police Department, has been put on administrative leave.
The move was confirmed by Larry LeMond, the town’s mayor.
LeMond would not comment any further on why Marshall was put on administrative leave, but he did confirm that the Cheriton Town Council voted to terminate Marshall’s employment contract in a meeting Wednesday night.
