NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – The Newport News Police Department is investigating after a shooting in the 1100 block of 22nd Street.
Dispatchers received the call at 12:06 p.m. When officers arrived, they located an adult man suffering from a non-life threatening gunshot wound to his finger.
According to police, the circumstances around the shooting are still under investigation.
