Portsmouth Police asks for public’s votes to name new K9 officer

PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The Portsmouth Police Department welcomed its newest member recently, and it’s seeking the public’s help in naming him.

The department came up with seven names for the new K9 officer. It’s asking the public to vote on their favorite.

The names are:

1. Ruger
2. Dozer
3. Ace
4. Hank
5. Robo
6. Wrinkles
7. Duke
