PORTSMOUTH, Va. – The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 1100 block of Virginia Avenue that left a woman injured Thursday night.
The call came in shortly after 8 p.m.
Police say a woman was shot in the lower body. Her injuries are said to be non-life-threatening.
