Norfolk Tides vs. Scranton RailRiders
The playoff-bound Norfolk Tides come home this weekend to take on the Scranton RailRiders. They play on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with some exciting promotions at all three. On Friday, the first 2,000 kids get a free youth jersey courtesy of Gatorade and News 3! Saturday is Marine Corp Night with post-game fireworks, and Sunday is Bark in the Park! Tickets start at $15.

Wright Kite Festival
This weekend, you have the chance to fly kites at the site of the first flight! The 45th annual Wright Kite Festival is this Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be kite displays, free kite flying lessons, a kite-making station and plenty of space to fly your own kite. The festival is free to participate in, but everyone ages 16 and older needs to pay $10 to get into the Wright Brothers National Memorial.

Shark Week at the Virginia Living Museum
The Virginia Living Museum in Newport News is celebrating Shark Week this week. This weekend, the museum is hosting a "Shark Pajama Jam" on Friday night and Shark and Ray Awareness Day on Saturday. There will be behind-the-scenes tours as well as family-friendly games to play! Tickets for the museum start at $20.

Busch Gardens Pride Day
Pride month may be over, but celebrations are happening at Busch Gardens this Saturday. Pride Day features tons of family-friendly LGBTQ+ shows, merchandise, a vendor fair, and then fireworks to cap off the night! Tickets start at $54 and you will need to reserve a spot online.

Race night at Langley Speedway
Langley Speedway is in the middle of the season and they have another set of races coming up this Saturday. It'll feature six local series plus the Southern Ground Pounders, a retro-style series. Tickets start at $15 and the races typically start around 7 p.m.

Harper Youth Fest
The City of Hampton will be holding the 2nd annual Harper Youth Fest this Saturday. It'll be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Butch Harper Park near Aberdeen Elementary. There will be live music, food, games, and tons of youth vendors. There will also be information on the city's youth programs. The festival is free to attend!

Community Day Festival
Izzy's Corner will be hosting their 2nd annual Community Day Festival on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. It'll be at Park Place Center and James Monroe Elementary. There will be food trucks, drinks, food trucks, plus a DJ and live music performances. It's free for everyone to attend.
