Norfolk Tides vs. Syracuse Mets
The Norfolk Tides take on the Syracuse Mets Tuesday through Sunday. On Friday, if you arrive at Harbor Park early, you can get a retro Tidewater Tides hat courtesy of News 3. Tickets start at $15.

Chesapeake Jubilee
The Chesapeake Jubilee is back in town this week! From Thursday through Sunday, you and the family can enjoy carnival rides, fireworks, a shrimp feast and more. Right now, a single-day ticket with unlimited rides is going for $21.25. For a family of four, it will cost you $85.

Bayou Bon Vivant
Get a taste of New Orleans this weekend by heading to Town Point Park. The Bayou Bon Vivant is back in town from Friday through Sunday. The Cajun music, food and art festival features New Orleans-inspired food, an art market and a reptile exhibit.

Ghent Farmer's Market
The Ghent farmer's market is back up and running this week. It's happening the first and third Friday of every month, rain or shine. It's happening at Blair Middle School this Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. If you miss out, don't worry: the farmer's market will be open on select Fridays through October, and it is completely free.

Strawberry Jamboree
Strawberry picking season is now underway, and the Virginia Beach farmer's market is celebrating. This Saturday, they are having a Strawberry Jamboree. It's happening off of Dam Neck Road near Princess Anne. We are told there will be several vendors, a craft show and live music. It is happening from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

North Carolina Potato Festival
If potatoes are more your style, the North Carolina Potato Festival is in Elizabeth City this weekend. It's northeast North Carolina's biggest festival. There will be arts and crafts and contests, including Little Miss Tater Tot, all throughout downtown. It is free to attend, but you will have to pay for rides and food. That being said, there are free french fries while supplies last

Tidewater Comicon
Tidewater Comicon is back at the Virginia Beach Convention Center on Saturday and Sunday. You'll get to meet celebrities from some of your favorite films and shows. There will also be artists, cosplay, trivia and more. Tickets range from $21 to $100, and kids tickets are free with the purchase of a regular pass.

International Museum Day
Thursday is International Museum Day, and with so many different museums in our region, it's the perfect excuse to check one out for yourself, including Nauticus in Norfolk, the Children's Museum in Portsmouth and the Virginia Living Museum in Newport News.

Sunset on the River Concert Series
Also on Thursday, Norfolk's Sunset on the River concert series is back at the Hermitage Museum. On select dates through August, there will be local bands playing from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.. There will also be food trucks, drinks and more. Tickets for non-members will be $15, and members and kids under 10 get in for free.

Cova Burger Battle
The Cova Burger Battle is back this Saturday. You may recall News 3's Myles Henderson helped judge the competition last year. It's happening at the Military Aviation Museum from noon to 5 p.m. If you want to help find the area's best burger, tickets range from $25 to $40.
