With a gorgeous weekend ahead of us it's time to start planning for how you're going to enjoy it, and News 3 has you covered with 3 things you can do!

Does enjoying the warm weather with one of the first art festivals of the season sound fun?

The Chesapeake Spring Art Festival is happening this Saturday and Sunday.

If you head over to Chesapeake City Park, you'll find more than 125 artists on site.

There will also be music, food trucks and a beer and wine tent. The event is free to the public and is being held on saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at 900 City Park Dr in Chesapeake.

Spring also signals the start of farmer's market season!

You can head to Williamsburg's Farmer's Market this Saturday from 8 a.m. to noon.

Everything there is made in Virginia including fresh produce, meat, potted plants and baked goods.

If you miss out this weekend, they host a farmer's market every Saturday until December 17th.

How about a family trip to Harbor Park!?

The Tides have been facing off against the Durham Bulls since Tuesday and have won both games so far. They’re scheduled to play them again Friday at 7:05 p.m. and throughout the weekend.

Saturday night there will be post-game fireworks at 6:35 p.m., and Sunday’s game at 1:05 p.m. is 'Bark in The Park' so you can take your pet with you!

A standard ticket is going to cost you $14, but tickets for Seniors, Active military, and Children 2 and under will be $12.
