Hampton Roads boy with congenital heart disease surprised with trip to LEGOLAND

NORFOLK, Va. – A boy from Hampton Roads got the surprise of a lifetime during an ODU men’s basketball game this week.

Cayden, 7, has congenital heart disease. The Chartway Promise Foundation and Make-A-Wish Greater Virginia said he wished to visit LEGOLAND in Florida with his family.

At the game, Cayden’s wish came true: news of his trip to LEGOLAND was announced at center court.

The trip is part of the foundation’s “Give With All Your Heart” campaign, which aims to grant wishes to medically fragile children.
