COROLLA, N.C. - Hello, Cricket!
The Corolla Wild Horse Fund announced its newest foal has made her first public appearance. Cricket was born on Tuesday, May 3.

With Cricket's birth, there have been six foals born in 2022 so far, with five of them surviving. The nonprofit says it's waiting for one more test result from it's deceased foal Charlie's necropsy before sharing more information.
The Corolla Wild Horse Fund is reminding people to give the horses plenty of space, as crowding new mothers can cause stress that may lead to a number of complications, including abandoning foals. You are asked to play at least 50 feet away at all times.
