NORFOLK, Va. - As gas prices continue to rise, another local church will fill up local drivers' tanks for free.
Morning Star United Holy Church will give away $5,000 worth of free gas at the Citgo gas station located at 415 Campostella Road in Norfolk on Saturday, May 14. Pumps open at 9 a.m.
Each car will get up to $30 in gas.
Everyone is welcome to come, and gas will be given away on a first-come, first-served basis.
The church isn't the only local establishment that has held a gas giveaway recently. On April 2, Grove Church in Portsmouth doubled last year's giveaway by offering $20,000 worth of gas to a long line of grateful drivers, and later that month, the owners of the Malbon Bros. Corner Mart also gave away $5,000 worth of gas, and earlier that month,
