HAMPTON ROADS, VA—Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month is observed to promote the prevention, detection, and treatment of colorectal cancer. Every March, the goal is to increase screening rates, as CRC is one of the most preventable cancers when caught early.
As Dr. Glen M. Arluk of Capital Digestive Care says, CRC patients are getting younger, and this requires patients to undergo screening at an earlier age.
