HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - Our nations’ Veterans are facing a greater threat of homelessness due to the current widespread economic impact of COVID-19. To combat this issue, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs announced in May that it has expanded support services enabled by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act. We talk to Dr. Keith Harris, National Director of Clinical Operations, about these programs offering immediate assistance for Veterans experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
