HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - The recently enacted American Rescue Plan allocated $17 billion in support of Veterans in response to the coronavirus pandemic, as well as providing needed monetary aid. Acting VA Under Secretary for Benefits Tom Murphy, VA’s top administrator of (non-medical) benefits, introduces some new initiatives to help transform Veterans’ lives in the midst of economic challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
