HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - Despite a few cold hiccups, this winter has so far been one of the warmest on record. Those of us who hate cold weather are probably loving it, and so have many of the plants in our gardens. However, these warmer weather trends can also cause damage to certain flowers, fruit and nut trees and may become a problem for farmers. Les Parks from Norfolk Bontanical Garden and Jeff Orrock from NOAA National Weather Service share some insight on this warm weather trend and how local plants are affected.
