First Warning Forecast:

70s Friday with more sun, tracking two rounds of rain and storms this weekend...

Another cold and frosty night expected tonight, thanks to completely clear skies and light winds. Temperatures will once again fall to the upper 30s and low 40s.

Expect another gorgeous spring day Friday. Temperatures will climb to the low 70s with sunshine to start and clouds building in during the second half of the day. A frontal boundary will approach the area late on Friday leading to even more clouds by sunset and a small chance of rain late.

Our Saturday will start off cloudy and rainy for much of the area. Storms will be possible with gusty winds, especially across northeast North Carolina. Rain chances go down during the second half of the afternoon but with more clouds than sun, highs will be cooler and only reach the low 60s.

Sunday will be the pick of the weekend with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the upper 60s. Most of Sunday will be dry but another storm system will move in late, leading to increasing clouds after sunset and the chance of rain.

That same system will be responsible for a rainy Monday but the sunshine will return Tuesday with warming highs back to the upper 60s.
