Heavy rain, flooding and damaging winds possible Thursday...

Nice and comfortable this evening with temperatures in the 70s and a mix of sun and clouds. It'll be a tad breezy with south winds 10 to 20 mph.

Tonight will feature partly cloudy skies with lows in the 60s. Winds will stay elevated overnight out of the south between 10 and 20 mph.

Thursday will be the soggy and stormy day of the week. Showers and storms are likely just after sunrise through the afternoon and evening hours as a cold front slowly moves through. Strong to severe storms are possible. Flooding is possible with most of the area getting 2” to 3” of rainfall. It will be windy on Thursday, south at 15 to 25 with gusts to near 35 mph.

Cooler air will move in behind the front and highs will dip into the 60s on Friday. A few leftover showers will wrap in on the back side of this system as it moves out. Highs will warm back to the 70s and near 80 this weekend with more sunshine.
