Meteorologist Maddie Kirker's First Warning Forecast:

Another cool and soggy day, then soaring temps to end the week…

Tonight will start dry with increasing clouds. Lows will be in the upper 40s.

Expect widespread rain early Wednesday morning with isolated strong to severe storms possible. Gusty winds and heavy rain will be the biggest threats. Most of the area will see 1”+ of rainfall, mainly in the morning. Scattered showers will continue through the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will only be able to warm a few degrees by the afternoon due to the clouds and rain. Expect temperatures to cool and in the mid 50s.

Thursday is looking like the nicest day of the week with sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 60s. We will warm into the 70s on Friday with a mix of clouds and scattered showers possible. Highs will warm to near 80° on Saturday.
