Maddie Kirker's First Warning Forecast
AM showers, near 80 this afternoon and cooler for the weekend...

Wet to start to our Friday as a cold front approaches our area. Rain chances will drop off by midday with only an isolated shower or two this afternoon. Once the rain ends it should be a nice day, as highs soar into upper 70s, more than 20 degrees warmer than normal for this time of year. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy. The intense warm up will be thanks to gusty southwest winds ahead of the front. Winds will be sustained between 10 and 20 mph, gusting up to 30 mph.

Saturday will be dry, but noticeably cooler with highs in the upper 50s. It should be a nice day with less wind and a mix of sun and clouds. More rain moves in Sunday with even cooler highs near 50.

Warming trend begins Monday with highs in the mid 50s Monday and low 60s by St. Patrick’s Day. With that said, rain chances continue through the week with a good chance of showers on St. Patrick’s Day.
