WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- Hoping to relieve her pain, one woman visited the Massage LuXe in Williamsburg for a relaxing massage on December 15, but what happened on the table was anything but helpful.

"He started to try to please me. I said no. I stopped him. I shoved his hand away," the woman, who did not want her identity revealed.

"I froze. I froze. I was scared. I didn't know what was happening," the woman said.

The woman said she quickly left the spa, and reported the incident to the police the next morning.

"My fear, after I left was, is he doing this to other women, and they're not speaking up?" the woman said.

The James City County Police Department confirmed they arrested Shawn Lamonte Robinson on December 18 and charged him with object sexual penetration.

Once his alleged victim had his name, she Googled him and found an old CBS 6 problem solvers investigation, which confirmed her fear that he had done this before.

"I was shocked. I was shocked, and wondered how could he be still massaging people after he's been convicted? Or doing the same or worse to other women? It just doesn't make sense to me," the woman said.

Robinson, who was the subject of a CBS 6 investigation earlier this year, was found guilty in July of misdemeanor sexual battery for raping a woman in February of 2018 at a Massage Envy on Midlothian Turnpike that has since closed.

He was sentenced to four months behind bars.

CBS 6 had been investigating Robinson because a Grand Jury indicted him in March of 2019, but he was not arrested until we asked Chesterfield Police about the case in February of this year.

Chesterfield Police said the indictment was entered into their records system, and yet, for nearly a year, they did not know Robinson had been indicted for rape, and they never tried to find him.

"I felt like the more I looked into it, the more disgusted I became, the more I want justice," the woman said.

According to records from the state, the Virginia Board of Nursing suspended Robinson's license on October 30 of this year.

Their report states that four different clients accused Robinson of inappropriate touching in 2018 and 2019: two of them at the Massage LuXe in Richmond.

Now, Robinson's latest alleged victim is left wondering how he ever got hired at the Massage LuXe in Williamsburg.

"Do you think Massage LuXe put your safety in jeopardy?" CBS 6 Problem Solver investigator Melissa Hipolit asked.

"Definitely, I have no words for the anger I feel about Massage LuXe at this point in time," the woman said.

A human resources manager for Massage LuXe in Williamsburg sent CBS 6 the following statement:

"Shawn Lamonte Robinson was hired at MassageLuXe Williamsburg on Aug 13th, 2020. At the time of hire he provided a current massage therapist license. His license was current and not suspended at the time of hire. On his application he listed that he worked as an Independent Contractor in Richmond from April 2018 to present. He also mentioned that from Jan 2020 to March 2020 he worked for Crystal Spa and Nails in Petersburg as well as Fitt RVA and total Hair and Spa in Sandon VA, whilst working as an independent contractor.
We perform background checks on all our hires. His report, at the time of hire, came back clean. We take the safety of our clients as well as our employees extremely serious. As independent Owners, we take all possible steps to create a safe environment in all our spas. Upon receiving the allegation, we immediately terminated Mr. Robinson. We are fully cooperating with the police department."
