17-year-old arrested, charged with second-degree murder in connection with 15-year-old's shooting death

YORK Co., Va. - A 17-year-old Newport News boy was arrested in connection with the December 13 shooting death of a 15-year-old boy, Jordan Miller.

According to the York-Poquoson Sheriff's Office, the 17-year-old was arrested early Saturday morning and charged with one count of second-degree murder and one count of using a firearm in commission of a felony. He was then taken to the Merrimac Center.

Miller was shot and killed in the Carvers Gardens neighborhood in Williamsburg, where neighbors say he was visiting a friend.

Police say they are not looking for any other suspects at this time, but say the investigation is still ongoing.
