PORTSMOUTH, Va. - Police have confirmed that a shooting left one man injured on Thursday.
Reports say officials responded around 5:27 p.m., to the 800 block of Freedom Avenue after reports of a shooting.
On the scene, a 21-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot wound to the lower body. The injury were said to be non-life threatening.
There are no further details to release at this time.
