3 condos damaged in early morning Virginia Beach fire

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - The Virginia Beach Fire Department responded to a multifamily fire that left three condominiums damaged early Saturday morning.

According to firefighters, the call for the fire came in at 1:58 a.m. Crews responded to the 2200 block of Savona Quay in the Crescent Condos, where they found heavy smoke and fire coming from the side of one of the buildings.

The fire was marked under control at 2:28 a.m., firefighters said. All occupants exited the structure safely, and no injuries were reported.

One condo has extensive fire damage, while two others have heavy water damage.

The fire's cause is under investigation by the Virginia Beach Fire Marshal's office.
