35-year-old man dies after Norfolk shooting

NORFOLK, Va. – Detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting that left a 35-year-old man dead.

Around 6 p.m., on October 10 police were dispatched to the 3100 block of Chesapeake Boulevard for the report of a vehicle crash.

When officers arrived, they found that the driver of the vehicle involved in the crash had sustained a gunshot wound.

35-year-old Michael Perry was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.

Detectives have not released a motive or any suspect information surrounding this incident.
