VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - A woman has died following a house fire on February 3.
Around 8 a.m., fire officials responded to the 1300 block of Eaglewood Drive for a reported house fire.
A 65-year-old woman was transported at the time of the fire for possible smoke inhalation.
The female was inside of the house at the time of the fire and was bed ridden. She was carried out by a neighbor who saw the fire and smoke coming from the house.
The victim died less than 24 hours later at the hospital of natural causes. The cause of the fire is accidental.
