The Virginia Department of Health updated its coronavirus case numbers on Saturday.
According to its website, there are now 12,366 confirmed and probable cases, 1,942 people hospitalized and 436 coronavirus-related deaths.
A total of 72,178 people in Virginia have now been tested.
The Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association also updated their numbers. As of Saturday, there are 1,405 people currently being hospitalized for coronavirus. There are 482 people currently receiving inpatient hospital care whose test results are pending. 357 confirmed positive patients, and those whose test results are pending, are currently hospitalized in the ICU.
223 hospital patients, both confirmed for coronavirus, and those with test results pending, are currently on a ventilator. 629 ventilators are being used in hospitals out of the 2,935 in the state - that's 21% usage.
1,717 patients who have been hospitalized for coronavirus have been discharged.
