The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.
As of Saturday, there are now 8,623 cases, 456 people hospitalized and 289 coronavirus related deaths.
That is 571 new cases and 20 additional deaths from Friday.
A total of 105,265 people in North Carolina have now been tested.
95 counties in North Carolina report having coronavirus cases.
