NORFOLK, Va. – Adoption fees have been lowered to just $35 at the Norfolk Animal Care Center now until October 4!
Beaches are open all day for dogs so why not find one to take with you?
City officials said the care center has plenty of dogs to choose from and that the $35 fees are made possible thanks to Friends of the Norfolk Animal Care Center.
The lowered fee is available to dogs one year or older.
Cat adoption fees have also been lowered to $35 for one year or older.
Virtual adoption counseling is available. Call 757-441-5505 or email at nacc@norfolk.gov to make an appointment.
You can also schedule a safe, socially distanced meet and greet in the outdoor play yard.
The center is doing Facebook Live tours on Saturday mornings so people can see all the loving pets in the shelter.
