All of Virginia Beach Oceanfront flying red flags, swimming is prohibited

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Red flags are flying at the Oceanfront in Virginia Beach and in the Outer Banks.

Red flags flying means that no swimming is permitted.

Virginia Beach officials say red flags will be at all beaches Tuesday due to rough surf and high risk of rip currents.

In Duck, North Carolina, red flags are also flying at their beaches.
