HENRY Co., Va. - Virginia State Police and the Virginia Missing Children Clearing House have canceled an AMBER Alert for a Henry County child who was abducted Friday afternoon.
The Henry County Sheriff's Office says 12-year-old Allie Michele Broadaway was found safely.

State Police say she is believed to have been abducted by Kaleb Christopher Merritt. Police say he is now in custody.

Officials say Merritt may be driving a light green 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis with Texas tags DMP-2294.
