NEWPORT NEWS, Va. - Officers with the Newport News Police Department are currently on scene of a barricade incident in the no hundred block of Normandy Lane Wednesday night.
Around 9:33 p.m., police responded to the area in reference to shots fired. When officers arrived on scene, they found two men and a woman.
The person who reported the incident said an argument ensued and that the suspect, one of the men, then fired his weapon multiple times outside the home.
The suspect then went inside the home with the weapon. At 2:05 a.m., police say the suspect was apprehended without incident.
No injuries have been reported.
The investigation remains ongoing, and charges are pending.
