PORTSMOUTH, Va. - The Portsmouth Police Department is investigating a shooting in the 1100 block of Virginia Avenue that left a boy injured Friday night.
The call came in at 8:39 p.m.
The boy's age is unknown. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment, and police say his injuries are serious.
There is no further information.
