CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Chesapeake police told News 3 a man has been arrested after crashing into a business in Chesapeake Wednesday night.

It happened at the Popeyes location in the 4300 block of Indian River Road. One person was in the car.

One man was arrested after a DUID investigation, a police spokesperson confirmed to News 3.

No one inside the building was hurt, police said.

Fire and building inspectors were on the scene to assess the damage to the building.
