Chesapeake Jubilee, Kiwanis Shrimp Feast canceled for 2020

CHESAPEAKE, Va. - The Chesapeake Jubilee and the Kiwanis Shrimp Feast have been canceled for 2020 due to the novel coronavirus, according to a release by the Chesapeake Jubilee.

The event was scheduled for May 14 through May 17 at the Chesapeake City Park.

According to the Jubilee, tickets purchased in advance will automatically be refunded within 14 to 21 days. The event will return from May 20 to May 23, 2021.

"Jubilee is following federal, state and local guidelines from the Departments of Health and Center for Disease Control and Prevention," a statement from the event's organizers read. "Jubilee’s top priority is the health and safety of all guests, artists, vendors, sponsors, volunteers and staff."
