CHESAPEAKE, Va. - Police responded to a report of an injured person in the 4200 block of Portsmouth Blvd on Monday, around 9:34 a.m.
Upon arrival, officers found a male who was suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation is ongoing and no other information is available at this time.
