CHESAPEAKE, Va. - A boy is in the hospital after he was shot Wednesday night.
Around 8:42 p.m., Chesapeake Police responded to calls reporting gunfire in the 1800 block of Hearthside Court.
When officers arrived on scene, they found the boy, whose age is unknown, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
