VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Virginia Beach Police are investigating the drowning of a child who had fallen into an Oceanfront hotel pool Monday morning.
Officials received a call at 11:13 a.m. saying that a child had fallen into the pool of the Rodeway Inn located at 1005 Pacific Ave.
Adults at the pool were performing CPR as crews arrived.
The child was taken to a local hospital where the child was pronounced dead. Police did not disclose the age of the child, but did mention they were under five years old.
Police are still investigating the incident.
