NORFOLK, Va. - Officials confirmed Friday that a government contractor working with BAE Systems Norfolk Ship Repair has died from coronavirus complications.
The contractor was working aboard the USS Bulkeley and his last day of work at the shipyard was on March 26, according to the Director of Communications for BAE Systems Ship Repair.
It was also confirmed that there are two positive cases involving subcontractors and four other people who are under investigation for possible exposure.
There are no further details at this time.
