Gov. Cooper extends N.C. stay at home order until May 8

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving coronavirus cases within the state.

As of Thursday, there are now 7,608 cases, 486 people hospitalized and 253 coronavirus related deaths. That is 388 new cases and 11 additional deaths from Wednesday.

A total of 96,185 people in North Carolina have now been tested. 93 counties in North Carolina report having coronavirus cases.
