Additional Rite Aid self-swabbing COVID-19 testing sites opening in Virginia

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. - Rite Aid is opening 161 additional COVID-19 testing sites from coast to coast, including some here in Virginia.

Organizers say each testing site will have self-swab tests overseen by Rite Aid pharmacists and will operate through the store’s drive-through window between the hours of 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. (Mon-Fri) and 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. (Sat-Sun).

All adults 18 years of age or older - even if you’re not showing any virus symptoms - are eligible for testing and can begin pre-registering online.

The locations set up in Hampton Roads can be found in Williamsburg, Newport News, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake.
