Chesapeake restaurant loses permit for not following COVID-19 guidelines

CHESAPEAKE, Va. - A restaurant in Chesapeake had its permit suspended for not following COVID-19 health guidelines.

Redbones Raw Bar Seafood Grill violated Executive Orders 63, 67, and 68, health officials said. The permit was suspended on Thursday, September 3.

The suspension was lifted Tuesday, September 8 after the restaurant submitted a plan for review, officials said.

The restaurant will continue to be closely monitored to ensure the submitted plan is followed.

No other enforcement action has been reported recently by health officials in the Hampton Roads area.
