The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.
As of Monday, there are now 571,758 PCR positive cases and 57,366 antigen positive cases, 3,843 people hospitalized and 7,578 COVID-19 related deaths.
That is 5,936 new total cases and 11 additional deaths from Sunday.
A total of 7,611,324 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
