Gov. Cooper speaks on COVID-19 response as N.C. reports over 2k new cases, 45 additional deaths

The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services released their daily update involving COVID-19 cases within the state.

As of Tuesday, there are now 283,895 PCR positive cases and 13,547 antigen positive cases, 1,230 people hospitalized and 4,660 COVID-19 related deaths.

That is 2,216 new PCR cases, 366 new antigen cases and 45 additional deaths from Sunday.

A total of 4,416,365 total COVID-19 tests have been completed in North Carolina.
